In addition to the various rigors of everyday college life, Sigma Chi is able to host and partake in a number of social events. At the beginning of each school year, Sigma Chi is paired with another sorority for both block seating at home football games, and with another sorority for the entire week leading up to Homecoming. During the spring, every fraternity is paired with a sorority for Greek Week, another week long event.

Sigma Chi also holds annual traditions such as our Christmas Cocktail date party, and our alumni Homecoming banquet dinner. But our greatest annual tradition is our White Rose Sweetheart Formal held at the Westin on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. Sigma Chi spends Valentine's Day weekend in Chicago celebrating the exit of our previous sweetheart, and the crowning of our new sweetheart. Weekly themed gatherings (TG's) with sororities on campus also fill in our social calendar. In addition, Sigma Chi takes house trips to support the Buckeyes on their away games, at the same time giving us a chance to visit other chapters.  Check the link to our upcoming Winter 2008 Calendar for more information on events during the current quarter.
