On behalf of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity here at Ohio State, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to be a part of the Sigma Chi Recruitment process. The upcoming days, weeks, and months are sure to be filled with endless possibilities and exciting opportunities and we would love for you to be a part of this journey.

From the moment you set foot on Ohio State's campus there are countless ways to spend your time and experience the new found freedoms that college life has to offer. Academics, leadership, volunteering, athletics, and even a social atmosphere each play a separate but very vital role in making the college experience a success. The Greek Community at Ohio State plays a very pivotal role in each of these areas throughout the OSU campus and Greater Columbus area, and ensures that its members are getting the most they can out of their time here. By tying each of these elements together through one common bond, the bond of Fraternity, they provide their members with opportunities unmatched by any other organizations in the world.

At the forefront of the Greek World stands the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Founded in the Spring of 1855 at Miami University (Oxford), Sigma Chi is one of the longest standing Fraternities in North America. In 1882, the Alpha Gamma Chapter became one of the first Fraternities to be founded here at Ohio State. Through more than 200 undergraduate chapters and 100 alumni chapters and associations located throughout North America and the world, Sigma Chi has become the preeminent leadership development organization in the United States. With each of our Brothers firmly connected by their belief in the Three Great Aims of Friendship, Justice, and Learning, Sigma Chi offers a truly unique college experience.

Your years spent here as a Buckeye will be some of the best of your life. You will learn, love, laugh, and socialize, and through each of these experiences you will grow as person. We at Sigma Chi would like to be a part of your journey. Best of luck in everything to come.
